Terms of Service
Last updated 23 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Georgi Dragomirov, a sole trader in the United Kingdom, trading as Task5 (“Task5”, “we”, “us”). Postal address: 7 Somerset Road, Swindon, SN2 1NE. Email: georgi.macbookpro@gmail.com. By creating an account you accept these terms. If you use Task5 for an organisation, you accept them on its behalf and confirm you may do so.
1. The service
Task5 helps you capture tasks from sources you connect, plan work, and have AI agents prepare results for you to review. Agents produce drafts, research, plans, documents and code changes. Task5 does not send email, post messages, place orders, make payments, merge code or deploy on your behalf: those actions are always yours.
AI output can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. You are responsible for checking it before you rely on it or share it, especially for legal, financial, medical, safety or employment matters.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 and give accurate details.
- Keep your sign-in secure. We recommend two-step verification (Settings → Security).
- You are responsible for what happens in your workspaces, including what members you invite do there.
3. AI providers and your keys
Agents run on an AI provider account that you connect with your own API key (currently Anthropic or OpenAI). Your use of that provider is governed by your agreement with them, and they bill you for usage. We pass your requests to the provider you choose and store your key encrypted. Budget caps in Task5 help you control spend, but provider charges are your responsibility.
4. Connected accounts
When you connect Gmail, Outlook, a calendar, Teams or GitHub, you authorise us to read the data needed to provide the service, with read-only permissions except where an agent opens a draft pull request on a branch you chose. You confirm you are allowed to connect those accounts, including any work account and its organisation's policies. You can disconnect at any time.
5. Plans, trials and payment
- The Free plan is free. Its limits are shown on the pricing page and may change with notice.
- Paid plans (Pro and Business) are subscriptions billed monthly or yearly in advance in GBP through our payment provider, Stripe. They renew automatically until you cancel.
- A paid plan may start with a 14-day free trial. A card is required. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts and your card is charged. One trial is available per person, workspace and card; if a trial has already been used, the subscription starts without one.
- You can cancel at any time in Settings → Billing. Cancelling stops renewal; your plan continues until the end of the period you paid for, then the workspace moves to Free. Your data is not deleted when a plan ends.
- We may change prices for future periods. We will tell you at least 30 days before a change affects you, and you can cancel before it applies.
- If a payment fails, we may limit the workspace to Free features until it is paid.
6. Your right to cancel (consumers)
If you are a consumer in the UK, you have 14 days from the start of a paid subscription to cancel it. Because the service starts straight away, the free trial gives you that period without charge. If you are charged and cancel within 14 days of your first payment, email us and we will refund that payment in full. This does not affect your other statutory rights.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use Task5 to:
- break the law, infringe others' rights, or process data you have no right to process;
- send spam, harass people, or create malware or content designed to deceive;
- probe, overload or attack the service, or get around plan limits, for example by opening accounts to get repeated trials;
- resell the service without our written agreement.
We may suspend accounts that breach these rules, and will tell you why unless the law or security prevents it.
8. Your content
You own the content you put into Task5 and the results agents produce for you. You give us permission to host and process it only to provide and secure the service. We do not use your content to train AI models. How we handle personal data is set out in the Privacy Policy; business customers can rely on our Data Processing Terms.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep Task5 available and secure, but it is provided as it is and may sometimes be unavailable. We may improve or change features; if a change significantly reduces a paid plan, you may cancel and receive a pro-rata refund for the unused period.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer, we are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill; we are not responsible for business losses.
If you use Task5 for business, we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business or data, or for indirect loss, and our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid us in that period, or £100 if greater.
11. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Task5 and delete your account at any time in Settings → Security; you can export a workspace first in Settings → Workspace. We may end the agreement with 30 days' notice, or immediately for a serious breach. If we end it without a breach on your side, we will refund any prepaid period you have not used.
12. General
We may update these terms; we will tell you about material changes in advance. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction, but if you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK you may also bring proceedings where you live.
